Our goal is to create a product and service that you cannot go golfing without! This is why we are continuously listening to our users and use their feedback during the development process of new products and features. About the team
As part of the hardware engineering team you will work directly under the CTO. You will work closely with external mechanical & industrial design engineers, as well as our supply chain partners in China and Malaysia.
Working Arrangements
At Shot Scope we pride ourselves on our implementation of flexible working arrangements and our ability to accommodate the needs of our colleagues. Working can be remote, hybrid, or in office depending on your preference. As this is an electronics engineering role, you may be required to visit the office from time-to-time in order to use certain equipment.
About you
You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in PCB design. Ability to design schematics and understand datasheets is essential. Experience of PCB layout would be beneficial but we are willing to train the right candidate.
You will also be expected to have a reasonable grasp of embedded C/C++ development as well as Python.
Most importantly, we’re looking for an electronics engineer with a desire to take projects from concept through to volume production. Developing wearable products involves many engineering disciplines and in addition to designing circuit boards housed within the products, you will help manage all other aspects of the product: from plastics design to LCD optical bonding, to firmware development and production testing. For this reason, we are looking for a good communicator, someone who is unafraid to ask questions and is willing to look at problems from many different angles.
