Do I need to pay for statistics and data?

No, unlike other performance tracking providers, Shot Scope do not charge subscription fees or have additional costs to access premium statistics like Strokes Gained. Unlimited access to over 100 tour level statistics available for FREE, forever.

What is performance / shot tracking and how does it work?

Shot Scope’s technology enables its’ performance tracking products to interact with the 16 lightweight tracking tags. Combined, these determine when a shot is hit, and its location on the course. You can then analyse your performance on the FREE mobile app or web dashboard to learn about and improve your game.

What’s the difference between manual shot tracking and automatic shot tracking?

Shot Scope offers products that do both. The H4 GPS handheld, CONNEX and PRO LX+ laser offer manual tracking by tapping the club tag against the device. However, the X5 and V5 GPS watches offer seamless automatic shot tracking which allows the golfer to simply play golf without needing to tag shots. Neither is inherently better and it is purely down to personal preference.

Do I need to have my mobile phone with me while I play?

No. You can track your shots without the use of your phone on the course. You can leave it in the car and avoid any distractions! Alternatively, Shot Scope CONNEX allows players to track their performance using their mobile phone, no other device is required - another method

How can tracking my golf shots improve my game?

Automatic shot tracking is super straight forward. Play your game as normal and your tags and device will pick up your shots. With manual tracking, golfers must tag their device prior to hitting their golf shot (tap the butt end of your golf club on your device).
