It depends on which watch you buy. The G4 and G6 can be taken out the box and straight onto the course, only requiring the time to be set–you can also do the set up on your mobile phone. To set up an X5 or V5 watch, simply download the FREE-to-use Shot Scope mobile app and connect the watch with your mobile device. To do so, simply go into the app and at the top of the screen, with your watch turned on and nearby, press ‘connect device’ before following the on screen instructions.
