Have full control on the course with every distance you need on your wrist. Our latest technology includes dynamic yardages to the front, middle and back of the green. Front and carry distances to water hazards and bunkers, plus any doglegs and layup points on a hole.
Green view and pin placement
Green view displays the shape and layout of each green and allows the golfer to move the pin to its location for the day.
Shot Scope X5 is preloaded with 36,000 courses worldwide and all courses are free to play with no additional fees. Courses can be quickly edited by Shot Scope’s course mapping team when requested by a golfer, for example if a new bunker is added to your local golf course.
Keep your score as you play
The X5 will automatically total your score as you play a round. Your score versus par will be clearly displayed on the F/M/B screen allowing you to quickly check your score anytime.
After you complete a hole the watch will confirm your gross score for each hole. The scorecard feature can be turned off in the settings menu if you prefer not to keep a score as you play.

What is personalised hole maps?
Personalised hole maps allows you to view any hole on the golf course, using your own performance data and P-Avg to make informed decisions off the tee. You can find out more here
What is Performance Tracking?
Performance Tracking allows the golfer to track their shots hit on the golf course, this is all done automatically with the X5 GPS watch and 16 lightweight tags that screw into the end of each club. Tracking is easy, all you need to do is play your round, record the pin position on each green using PinCollect and the watch does the rest!
Post-round, upload your data to the app and review over 100 statistics on your game including Tee Shots, Approaches, Short Game, Putting, Scoring and Strokes Gained.
You can turn Performance Tracking off on the watch for rounds you don’t want to track and use X5 like any other GPS golf watch.
What is new about the 2nd generation tracking tags?
The new and improved Shot Scope 2nd generation tracking tags have an increased range for more accurate shot tracking and will sit on the top of your grips more securely with the new dome shaped design. The tags are lightweight and do not require a battery.
Replace your old Shot Scope tags with your new X5 tracking tags for best performance.
How many golf courses does watch have?
There are around 38,000 golf courses in the world and Shot Scope has the 95% of these courses mapped within their 36,000+ database of courses. If a course is not on the Shot Scope database get in touch with our support team support@shotscope.com who will have the course mapped and ready to update on your watch within 48 hours.
