Yes, all Shot Scope laser rangefinders are tournament legal, providing slope technology is turned off.
What is the difference between PRO L2, PRO LX and PRO LX+?
The PRO LX and PRO LX+ are the same laser but the PRO LX+ includes our H4 device to provide GPS, shot tracking and statistics. The PRO L2 is a smaller and more compact rangefinder, designed with a built-in cart magnet for golfers who want to attach their rangefinder to a golf cart or magnetic surface.
What is dual optics and what rangefinders include this?

Red optics makes it easy to see distances
Shot Scope PRO LX and PRO LX+ rangefinders include premium Red or Black optics meaning the display is readable in all light and weather conditions.
Simply press the button to toggle between Red or Black when using the laser on the course. This customisable feature allows the golfer to use whichever is their personal preference.
Why buy a Shot Scope golf rangefinder?
Any distance at the click of a button
A quick fire of the laser gives you the distance to anything on the golf course within 700+ yards – more than enough distance to cover any golf hole. Scan the hole to get distances to trees, bunkers, a wall or a lay-up point.
All Shot Scope golf laser rangefinders are quick and easy to use, with distances available in either Yards or Meters.
Target-Lock vibration feedback
When you hit the target, all Shot Scope rangefinders send a short vibration to confirm the target has been hit. Never doubt yourself again and lock on target every time!
With Target-lock technology hitting the target is easier than ever, even with shaky hands.
Fast firing rangefinder technology
All Shot Scope rangefinders have added Rapid-fire detection, which is a fast firing feature allowing the golfer to hit the target quicker than ever before.
Once the button is pressed, the rangefinder will instantly display the distance to the target. You won’t be holding up play with a Shot Scope rangefinder on your bag.
Legal for tournament use
Fully tested and conforming to R&A and USGA rules. All Shot Scope laser rangefinders have adaptive slope technology, ensuring that slope can be turned off to comply with tournament regulations. All Shot Scope rangefinders can be used in tournaments that allow golf rangefinders to be used.
