Data to improve at your fingertips
The statistics produced by Shot Scope are what we believe (as a group of golfers) to be the most beneficial statistics to help improve your game.
Knowing your club distances based on how far you hit the ball on the course (not the range) is invaluable. Understanding your misses off the tee and when approaching the green are pivotal when it comes to trying to improve your game.
The statistics and data available is free with any Shot Scope performance tracking watch.Free Shot Scope App

How can I use statistics to improve?
Know your club distances
Learn how far you hit each club, based off real on-course distances instead of the range. This ensures better club selection when playing and gives you confidence knowing you have the right club in your hand.
Know your misses
Breaking down your tee shots allows you to identify where you miss more often, or what miss is costing you the most. You can use this to form a strategy for a particular hole or to structure your practice sessions or lessons.
Missing short, long, left or right?
Knowing where you miss the green allows you to start improving. For example the majority of golfers are leaving shots to the green short, and therefore need to start hitting one more club on approach shots.
Play to your strengths
Learning which club you are most successful with around the greens allows you to play to your strengths, particularly if you have to get ‘up and down’ to win a match or shoot a good round.
